Hogwarts Legacy is not out yet and is already the most successful game on Steam

Surely all fantasy fans and especially Potterheads, will be very excited to be able to enjoy the magical world of Harry Potter with Hogwarts Legacy on February 10.

Although it is a month away from its launch, it has been quite a surprise to realize that the game is positioned as the premium game with the most money raised on Steam.

Hogwarts Legacy is in fifth place on Steam's global best-seller list, based on revenue rather than unit sales. The game is second only to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Apex Legends, and the Steam Deck. Except for the console, the rest of the titles are free-to-play experiences.

But what does this mean? It means it's the best-selling premium game on Steam, and it's not out yet. This could indicate that once in its launch, and after seeing its performance it could rank even higher, being an even better success.
