Rumours are intensifying

A month ago (December 2022 to be exact) we informed you that after a notorious absence during The Game Awards, rumours started circulating about an Xbox showcase which was expected for the first quarter of the year. Well, a new article suggests that the event will take place and is closer than you imagine.

2023 could be Xbox's year

According to Windows Central Xbox will host a new Developer_Direct games show featuring Arkane, Bethesda, ZeniMax Online Studios and many Xbox-owned studios. The show is expected to go live on January 25, at 12 PM PT, however, the date could change because you know… we don’t have an official confirmation from Microsoft yet.

The article mentions that new details from Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and Minecraft Legends may be shown at the event. That is not all, it could a possibility that we could witness the announcement of a brand new project.

As we said before, there is a lot of stuff that we haven’t seen yet from Microsoft like updates in games like Contraband, State of Decay 3, Playground's Fable project, Perfect Dark, Indiana Jones, Elder Scrolls 6, or Gears 6 and all of them could have released gameplay by now.
