The video game industry is full of leaders who have marked all gamers. Some of them received recognition for their work and contributions in 2022.

Variety did research to choose the 500 most influential business leaders from various industries, including video games. This year, the publication celebrated the careers of more than 25 executives related to the industry, including Phil Spencer, Jim Ryan, and Doug Bowser, heads of Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo of America, respectively.

The list not only recognizes the heads of large companies in the West but also credits important figures in Japan, such as Shuntaro Furukawa, Yasuo Miyakawa, Haruhiro Tsujimoto, Hidetaka Miyazaki, presidents of Nintendo, Bandai Namco, Capcom, and FromSoftware. , respectively.
