The proposal of VTubers on Twitch has become popular since a while ago, which is the use of digital avatars by streamers. This way of broadcasting on Twitch has been very effective. For that same reason, the platform decided to celebrate the achievements of its community with a special message through its social networks.
But, Twitch didn't get the response they expected because the platform celebrated the success of the VTuber label by talking about artificial intelligence. Many creators took this as an insult to their work and effort since they are always behind the digital avatar.
VTUBERS ATTACK AGAINST TWITCH AND AI
The Vtuber tag brought both avatars and viewers together in one great space, with Vtubers growing and creating AI like never before... oh, and some amazing characters and personalities came along with it. pic.twitter.com/9RhICpLVNU

The VTubers community raised their voices to protest the company for its comparison with artificial intelligence. The content creators made it clear that they go to great lengths to entertain their audience with all of their work behind the digital avatar.
Many clarified to Twitch that VTubers are not related to artificial intelligence or the security of certain processes. So they demanded to stop the dehumanization of their work. Many people brought up the recent AI and art controversies, believing that streamers and content creators, in general, are also emerging.
Yo Twitch I appreciate the love, but respectfully Vtubing has nothing to do with AI at all.

AI art is hurting not just Vtubers, but a lot of the talented artists that create and work with Vtubers, so it's really insulting and diminishing to mention it like this.
😭 my character is a rogue artificial intelligence but im not related to any IRL AI stuff
