This is the time when PlayStation starts one of the biggest promotions of the year, and that is the Holiday Sale. In this promotion, a large number of games and DLCs from the PlayStation Store library -if not the entire library- have a percentage discount that can reach up to 75%.
This Holiday Sale runs from Wednesday, December 21 local time until Friday, January 6. Except for some titles that leave the promotion on January 4, such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. With this in mind, it is recommended to carefully check for the last promotion's day for the games that you are interested in the most.
Additionally, it was stated in the official announcement blog that the Holiday January Sale promotion lineup will refresh on Wednesday, January 4. This means that there might be discounts for you to take advantage of in case the games that you want to purchase don't have a profitable promotion for you.
