Unable to resist posting on social media his wrap-up of the most played titles on Xbox in 2022, Phil Spencer confirmed his incredible passion for the Italian rogue-lite Vampire Survivors.

The top exponent of Microsoft's division thus confirms that he has been spending his free time fighting monsters in the company of Mortaccio, Sister Clerici, Yatta Cavallo, and the sprightly vampire slayer with a passion for garlic Poe Ratcho.

A fun obsession

Did Phil Spencer play 200+ hours of Vampire Survivors? It certainly seems so, judging by the card summarizing the Xbox boss's video game activities and the statements shared by Spencer himself on Twitter in thanking "everyone who joined me in playing this 2022, I had so many great cooperative sessions throughout the year. And yes, I love Vampire Survivors, I still need to complete those end goals."

Good Luke 'Poncle' Galante, of course, took the opportunity to thank Phil Spencer in turn and spur him on to still hunt down the abominations that infest the maps of Vampire Survivors to unlock the final Goals.

As for the future, Poncle reassured all fans of the rogue-lite phenomenon by reporting that Vampire Survivors will continue to evolve with new free content, to be accompanied perhaps by expansions such as the Legacy of the Moonspell just launched on PC, Xbox consoles and mobile systems.
