Celebration time at Kojima Productions! Hideo Kojima's studio has turned seven years old, and to celebrate the anniversary, no shortage of small initiatives and news will make fans of the Japanese software house happy.

Through a short video, Hideo Kojima celebrated Kojima Productions by mentioning an unreleased game, most likely the Xbox production is known unofficially as Overdose, while also talking about Death Stranding 2, officially announced during The Game Awards 2022.

A new poster was revealed

The iconic game designer promises that DS2 will be an even more immersive and polished sequel on the gameplay front than its predecessor. However, he did not provide more meaty details about the nature of the project.

If nothing else, Kojima Productions has piqued the attention of fans by posting an unreleased poster of DS2 on Twitter: the image sees an octopus encased inside a containment pod, but without any kind of description or detail other than reiterating the cast of actors involved in the game: recall that Norman Reedus, Ley Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna and Troy Baker will be among the main protagonists of the new Death Stranding, and it is not, however, to be ruled out that other stars will be involved in the title.

In case you missed it: Kojima Productions shows the studio where DS2 is being developed.

As of yet, no indication of a release date has been given: the assumption is that the release of Death Stranding 2 is still a long way off, as Reedus would have recently started with motion capture sessions.
