Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 was supposed to arrive on Steam this year, sadly a network test scheduled for April 2022 was cancelled and after that, a long radio silence left fans of this original PlayStation exclusive in the dark.
Now, after months of nothing, Bandai Namco informed us that the game will arrive sometime in early 2023 but before anything they will hold the GBO2 Steam Open Beta Test in order to improve the quality of the game.
In the statement provided by gundam.info, they apologize for the long wait:
“We apologize once again for making you wait for such a long time, and we will strive to further improve the quality of the official service based on the content we received from everyone in this test. Thank you very much.”

You may be wondering when, well, as always Bandai Namco stated that as soon as the detailed schedule is confirmed, it will be announced on Steam News and Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 official Twitter, so, once again be patient.
In case you aren’t familiar with Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2, you should know that this is an online free-to-play 6v6 game initially released in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and later for PlayStation 5.
