We are now a few weeks away from the launch of the next-gen version of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. So CyberConnect 2 and Bandai Namco are warming up the engines of the promotional machine by showing gameplay footage of the Bardock Alone Against Fate expansion.
What we know so far
The new add-on content packaged by the Japanese developers will kick off Season Pass 2 and give all fans a chance to take part in the story based on the TV special of the Dragon Ball universe. The expansion will focus on Bardock, Goku's father, and his battle to protect the Saiyans and their planet from impending destruction.
The first gameplay video of Bardock Alone Against Fate takes us into the orbit of Planet Vegeta to give us a glimpse of the gameplay and narrative experience to be had with Goku's dad.

In case you missed it: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is coming in fall 2023?
This expansion is scheduled to be released on January 13, 2023, coinciding with the launch of the new version of DBZ Kakarot for last-generation consoles. Bardock's DLC, as specified above, will be part of the content package to be purchased with Season Pass 2, while the nextgen update will be free for all PS5 or Xbox Series X/S users who own a copy of the game.
