Insomniac Games may be preparing to announce the release date of Marvel’s Spiderman 2 or at least it seems like it after a series of hints have been scattered around Twitter by Insomniac employees, also the game made a sudden appearance in the PlayStation Store… Is Christmas coming earlier this year?

Moments ago, the official Spider-Man 2 site appeared on the PlayStation Store (via Benji Sales on Twitter) with a logo, basic information and description:
"Spider-Man 2 is the next game in the critically acclaimed Marvel's Spider-Man franchise. Developed by Insomniac Games for the PlayStation 5 console in partnership with PlayStation and Marvel Games".

Apparently, you can add Spider-Man 2 to your PlayStation Store wishlist which may suggest a related announcement and even a possible launch window that will allow pre-sales to officially begin could be around the corner.
As we were saying at the beginning of the article some Insomniac employees have shared little hints about Spider-Man 2, first James Stevenson, studio's community manager, shared a GIF on his official Twitter account showing Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their respective costumes, adding to the anticipation and speculation of a possible announcement before the end of the year.

Also, Aaron Jason Espinoza an Insomniac Sr Community Manager just tweeted “2023” which made the community start theorizing when the game may come out.

Did you know?: Joke's on you, Insomniac Games. Didn’t you say it would never happen?
We knew the game is coming next year, however with all this movement maybe we are talking about a Q1 release. Let’s hope that Insomniac Games decides to release something before Christmas Day, that definitely will hype up the community like never before.
