2022 was not filled with an outstanding number of Xbox exclusive releases or at least announcements, actually, it was very clear after they were pretty absent from The Game Awards which took place last week.

In case you missed it: Xbox Cloud Gaming is coming to the Meta Quest Store!

Actually, if you are not aware there are several Xbox games due out in 2023 however there are not enough details of them out as much as we would like to and maybe this may change soon. According to Windows Central journalist Jez Corden, the company could be planning an event in Q1, as Corden claims to have heard “tentative” and “unverifiable” rumours suggesting so.

The possible event could have the X0 events format and will be the perfect place to finally release the long-awaited announcements and updates on titles like Forza Motorsport, Redfall, and Starfield.

Corden also noted that we haven't seen anything about other games like Contraband, State of Decay 3, Playground's Fable project, Perfect Dark Indiana Jones, Elder Scrolls 6, or Gears 6 and all of them could have released gameplay by now.

Fortunately a couple of days ago Xbox exec Aaron Greenberg tweeted something that may confirm this Xbox event coming next year:

Hopefully this is true and we will not have to wait too long for the next Xbox move. Are you disappointed with the lack of announcements from Xbox? Do you think that 2023 will be better for the green brand fans?
