The unending process through which it will be decided whether or not Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard will be successfully concluded is once again the focus of discussions. Revealing new details was the well-known analyst Michael Pachter, who released interesting rumors about the progress of the negotiations.

According to a series of messages shared by Pacther on his personal Twitter profile, Microsoft has reportedly found a way to facilitate the conclusion of the negotiations in its favor.

Xbox exclusives?

In addition to the already known proposals to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation in the coming years, it would appear that the Redmond giant wants to reassure the Japanese company about the arrival of sequels related to successful brands such as Fallout, Doom, The Elder Scrolls, and many others.

Microsoft wants to ensure that the FTC is more likely not to intercede because of the arrival of blockbuster products such as The Elder Scrolls 6 on the PlayStation 5. This will have no impact on the Xbox Game Pass catalog since the arrival of such products on the rival platform will not prevent Microsoft from landing its first-party titles in the service's catalog.

Of course, these are only rumors, but given the progress of the acquisition, it cannot be ruled out that this is indeed Microsoft's strategy to finalize the deal and add Activision to Xbox Game Studios.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg claims that Microsoft is ready for a legal battle against the FTC should there be any hiccups in the Microsoft x Activision deal. In any case, some analysts also have positive views, who believe that the Activision Blizzard acquisition will go through within six months.
