In recent weeks we saw the name The Callisto Protocol everywhere because it was a highly anticipated game by the gaming community. Now with its debut, many people are already enjoying the title, although there are also many opinions about the game's performance.

What do we mean by this? What happens is that the game is receiving contrasting opinions, and many users, especially on PC, agree that the game does not perform well.

The Callisto Protocol has been available for several hours now, and many excited fans have already downloaded it and started playing. There several members of the Steam community discovered that it has several performance issues. With the above, the game only has 31% positive reviews, although there was a point at which it only had 22% approval.

WHAT PROBLEMS DOES THE CALLISTO PROTOCOL HAVE?

Based on the feedback from the gaming community on Steam, the game mainly has two issues: performance and stuttering. These errors mainly appear when loading new areas, cutscenes, and animations.

The reviews show that even people with RTX 30 or RTX 40 cards suffer from stuttering and frame drops. This is regardless of whether they are with ray tracing turned off or on. The problems are so big that some even joke about calling it “The Stuttering Protocol.”

WHAT ARE THE FANS SAYING?

“I have been very disappointed. The game is unplayable due to technical issues. The disappointment is greater having bought the deluxe edition. I don't know whether to ask for a refund. What a pity that they do things like this to us”, said Juanal, a Steam user who has been playing The Callisto Protocol for more than 3 hours.

"I thought the performance was due to my humble 580, but I see that the problem is widespread; I don't know whether to ask for a refund because I bought the most expensive edition, and it really can't be played at the lowest settings," explained the Steam user known as Rhodes.
