EDIT:
The official PEGI page updated the title's information hours after adding the Nintendo Switch platform and removed it from all entries.

After first debuting in 2019, it's time for a comeback for Borderlands 3. In fact, gearbox's looter shooter appears to be on its way to Nintendo Switch as well.

This is suggested by PEGI (Pan European Game Information), which recently registered a version of the game intended for Nintendo's hybrid console within its database. The classification body accepted on today's date-Thursday, December 1, 2022-references to several Nintendo Switch ports related precisely to the third instalment of the video game saga.

Which versions are coming to the Switch?

It seems pretty evident that Gearbox Software and Take Two intend to offer the entire Borderlands 3 universe to the Nintendo Switch community as well, which had not initially been able to benefit from the release of the looter shooter. Check the list below to find out the titles coming to Nintendo Switch!

  • Borderlands 3: Director's Cut
  • Borderlands 3: Designer's Cut
  • Borderlands 3: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck
  • Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood
  • Borderlands 3: Guns, Love, and Tentacles - The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock
  • Borderlands 3

In case you missed it: Sonic Frontiers reveals its DLC for 2023.

The PEGI database is the only clue regarding the porting process, which has not yet been made official by the publisher and software house. The announcement could come in the coming weeks, perhaps in conjunction with The Game Awards 2022.
