Sonic Frontiers has just announced via Twitter the content that will be added throughout 2023. New game modes, in-game features, events, and playable characters will be a thing! The best news is that everything will be available for free, even the Holiday Cheer Suit releasing in December.
In 2023 the content roadmap shows that the DLC will be launched in three different updates. We don't have words from SEGA on the specific dates for them, and it is said that the content and content names are subject to change without notice.
So we should take all the following as the most possible content that we will have available in Sonic Frontiers. The updates have specific contents to be released, and they are set up as follows:
- Update 1: Juke box, photo mode, new challenge modes.
- Update 2: Sonic's birthday, open zone challenge, new Koco.
- Update 3: Playable characters, and new story.

Additionally, to welcome the December holidays Sonic will receive a special Holiday Cheer Suit for free! It will be available on December 21. And, of course, you must already own the game to obtain it. It might be a special suit given every year, but nobody knows if it will be a one-time-only gift, so don't miss this opportunity.
