As you are well aware by now, the DC Comics universe has been entrusted to the capable hands of James Gunn, who recently released some details regarding his plans for superhero-based video games.

Will everything be connected?

Indeed, on Twitter, the recorder confirmed that all upcoming projects, whether animated, film or destined for streaming platforms. In response to the tweet, someone asked whether or not video games would be part of this unified vision, and Gunn's answer was a dry 'yes.'

As you can imagine, therefore, no details are known about which titles will begin to be integrated into the new narrative course of the DC Comics universe. In any case, it is unlikely that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be one of them since development is at an advanced stage. The developers themselves have confirmed that it is part of the Arkhamverse, unlike Gotham Knights.

In case you missed it: Street Fighter 6 gets rated in Korea.

As a result, it is not ruled out that the Wonder Woman game from the designers of Middle-earth: The Shadow of Mordor and its sequel may be the first product to meet this new philosophy. The book in question has never been exposed to the public, and it is possible that the developers would design the story so that it will 'wedge' into Gunn's new DC Comics universe.

Do you think the games should be connected to the films? Let us know in the comments!
