Great news players and fans! Capcom has confirmed the official date for their Capcom Cup IX which will be the culmination of one of the most hard-fought Street Fighter V: Champion Edition seasons in the history of the Capcom Pro Tour.
You should be aware that this is the return of the Capcom Cup after a year of absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, also, this is where Capcom plans to close the official competitive legacy of Street Fighter V so, expect a big event like any other.

The event will be held at the Avalon Hollywood & Bardot in Los Angeles, California from February 14 to 19, 2023 and if you want to see the greatest Street Fighter players from all over the globe you can either acquire a weekday pass for $30 or weekend pass for $70 here.
It’s worth noting that the Last Chance Qualifier will take place in Burbank, CA on February 12 and 13 where the winner of this 256-player tournament will be awarded the final 47th spot in CAPCOM CUP IX, sadly there are no tickets for that one.

Now, the event will be divided into 4 different phases, as we were saying the Last-Chance Qualifiers on February 12 and 13, followed by the Group Stage running from February 14 to 16, then the Street Fighter League World Championship from 17 to 18 and culminating with the CAPCOM CUP IX Top 16 on Sunday, February, 19.
A week full of emotion and how not to get excited as all these fighters are competing for a total prize pool for CAPCOM CUP IX of $300,000 and for the Street Fighter League: World Championship of $150,000.
