When the open beta of MultiVersus came out it was a big trend, positioning itself as one of the most popular games, being on a par with games like Fortnite and Fall Guys. In addition, achieving a historical peak of more than 150,000 simultaneous players on Steam.

However, the popular fighting game seems to be slowly dying as MultiVersus has already lost more than 90% of its players on Steam so far.

Currently, the game is in the launch of its second season, this new season includes new content such as Marvin the Martian, new skins and changes to the Battle Pass. However, it seems that a large sector of the community did not return to enjoy these novelties.

MULTIVERSUS HAS LESS THAN 5000 PLAYERS ON STEAM

MultiVersus progressively lost players on Valve's platform. This is a normal phenomenon faced by many games, but it is undeniable that in this case the rate at which the community lost interest and stopped playing is alarming.

As of this writing, the Player First Games video game has 2,336 concurrent players on Steam, while the peak of the last 24 hours is 2,535 concurrent users. The best number of the last 30 days was 4709 players. This means that it lost more than 90% of its community since its launch in the middle of the year.

It is important to emphasize that this data only covers PC gamers. It is impossible to know for sure how MultiVersus will perform on Xbox and PlayStation platforms. It is possible that the outlook looks much more favorable on consoles.

MultiVersus is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
