They not only used the mocap studio…

We are weeks away from The Callisto Protocol launch one of the most awaited games of the year, recently we got to see the official launch trailer for the UK and oh boy… we can’t wait.

Actually, this awesomeness came out of nowhere as Striking Distance and publisher Krafton has apparently received a lot of help from PlayStation. According to former head of PlayStation Visual Arts, Michael Mumbauer, PlayStation not only lend the PlayStation's Motion Capture Studio to Striking Distance, they also contributed with cinematics and more.

Did you know?: The Callisto Protocol has officially gone gold!

What do you mean by more?

Apparently, PlayStation also helped by providing The Callisto Protocol’s studio with tech and devs, so the Japanese company was a real helping hand in these 3 years of development.

In case you haven’t heard about The Callisto Protocol, you should know that is written and directed by Glen Schofield co-creator of the Dead Space series. The game is set in 2320 at a prison colony called Black Iron, operated by the United Jupiter Company, and located on Jupiter's moon Callisto, here we take the role of Jacob Lee a prisoner at Black Iron who ends up caught in the midst of an alien invasion that appears to have been engineered by the prison's warden.

In case you missed it: Oh no! The Callisto Protocol will not be coming out in Japan

Remember The Callisto Protocol will be released on December 2, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
