It seems that at the studios of Insomniac Games, preparations have already begun for the start of the dubbing stages of Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Scott Porter, an actor who played the character of Harry Osborn in the first Marvel's Spider-Man, is hinting at this. In a tweet posted on his Twitter account, the voice actor addressed the issue, only to quickly proceed with deleting the message. The Tweet, however, had already been immortalized by fans, attracting the attention of those in the industry.

Why is Insomniac changing voice actors?

"While I voiced Harry in the first Spider-Man, I, unfortunately, will not be in the sequel,'' Scott Porter's message read. ''They decided to go photo-real, and the age difference between me and Harry's ages was too much to overcome.''

There is no word from Insomniac Games regarding the game's possible release date. Still, the software house recently wanted to reiterate that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will arrive during 2023 and will not be affected by postponements.

In case you missed it: Phil Spencer explains why Starfield was delayed to 2023.

Insomniac Games is not working exclusively on the new Peter Parker adventure. Instead, the software house has already announced that it is also busy with the development of Marvel's Wolverine.

Do you think Porter should've remained playing Harry? Let us know in the comments!
