A new day, a new Overwatch 2 problem. Sadly, Blizzard has released a statement in which they confirm that the mid-season patch will take longer to arrive, this with the reason that they need to solve a "critical issue" before releasing it.

This issue also means that those who use Mei's character will have to wait longer to play with the character again since the character represents some troubles because of a bug.

Blizzard also has to take care of important balance adjustments and some bug fixes. However, it's not all bad; the good news is that the studio has already set a new date for the release of the patch.

WHEN WILL THE MID-SEASON PATCH ARRIVE IN OVERWATCH 2?

“Today’s patch is delayed as we work to resolve a critical issue. We'll provide an update here and set the patch live as soon as the problem is addressed.", Blizzard said in its statement.

The update will now be released tomorrow, Thursday, November 17. It is expected to be available for download starting at 11:00 AM PST. The studio thanked the players for their patience.

Now, what will the patch include? Blizzard detailed that there will be balance adjustments and bug fixes. So the whole matter of Mei will be solved, and she will finally be able to return to the games.

We know the game's daily and weekly challenges were restored to normal a few hours ago. Still, the delay affected the delivery of Overwatch League incentives and the rotation of league-related cosmetic content.
