Call of Duty will become Xbox exclusive, or rather no, it will continue to be released on PlayStation as well, but only up to a certain point, as long as Phil Spencer wants... in recent months, we have read a lot, now the CEO of Microsoft Gaming has spoken definitively on the issue speaking to the microphones of The Verge. There is no plan to make Call of Duty exclusive to Xbox, and Phil Spencer reiterates what he has said many times.

So Call of Duty stays on PlayStation?
"Rest assured; I'm not going to get up one morning and say Call of Duty will not come out on PlayStation 7 because there is no valid contract. Conversely, no contract definitively establishes something forever,"
said Spencer.
Phill thinks that signing contracts with the words "forever" written somewhere in the text is never a good move; however, there is no problem in signing long-term contracts with PlayStation and meeting the needs of the entities that are considering Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
Call of Duty "will remain available on PlayStation, and there will be no requirement to subscribe to Game Pass. It will not be streaming and will be a native game like the ones released to date. I'm not hiding anything from you."
In case you missed it: Hideo Kojima wants to create films and music besides video games.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is doing very well on both PlayStation and Xbox, and Phil Spencer "already has plans for the next episode and the one after that and the one after that," these games will be released on PlayStation "without Sony having to host Game Pass on its consoles."
