As the video game world continues to move forward amid new blockbusters and last-minute phenomena, Sea of Thieves continues undaunted on its course, buoyed by significant support from Rare and the affection of virtual pirates everywhere. It is to them that the British studio's latest message is dedicated.

What will the developers bring next?
Rare has announced that Sea of Thieves season 8 will kick off on Tuesday, November 22. The official presentation, however, will occur a few days earlier, more precisely at 4 pm UTC on Friday, November 18. While waiting to find out more details, we have to make do with an image showing a half-destroyed ship in the deep sea and a message that reads, "The battle begins."
Rare will also take advantage of the November 18 presentation to give us a live update on the continuation of the voting that players were asked to participate in during Sea of Thieves Season 7's "Return of the Damned" adventure. These days, virtual pirates are being called upon to decide whose side they are on: Belle's, who intends to save Sir Arthur Pendragon, or that of the Servant of the Flame, who instead wants to bring the fearsome pirate Flameheart back to life.

The impression is that the choice made by the Sea of Thieves community may heavily influence the unfolding of Season 8, so there is a lot of curiosity towards the outcome.
