Following Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter, several corporations are pulling their advertising from the platform, citing disagreements with Elon's new guidelines and the numerous new features coming to the popular social network. Nintendo might be one of these companies.

Which companies are seemingly leaving Twitter?

In particular, it seems that many brands whose communication is managed by Interpublic Group of Companies in the U.S. have decided to stop investing in advertising on Twitter. Among these brands are Volkswagen, Audi, CVS (a chain of pharmacies and parapharmacies very famous in the U.S.), General Mills and Mondelez International; also among the company's clients is Nintendo, which could therefore join the list of advertisers fleeing Twitter.

It is unclear whether Nintendo of America has decided to stop promoting its activities on Twitter. The choice seems to be shared by many brands related to Interpublic Group. Still, we do not know whether Nintendo has also decided to join the boycott.

In case you missed it: Rumor: Diablo 4's date announcement is very close.

Twitter is currently in the eye of the storm because of Elon Musk's choices, such as his decision to lay off employees via email without notice, which has already led to the first lawsuits for not respecting human rights. Twitter has lost a million users in just a few days and is experiencing a significant drop in revenue precisely because of the shake-ups brought in by the new owner.
