Recently, it has been revealed that Sony is creating a new PlayStation team that would also involve Naughty Dog and Visual Arts Group, the latter known to have helped with the development of The Last of Us Part I.

What will this new title be about?

Details about this project had emerged from a job ad circulated by the Japanese giant looking for a Senior Designer. More details are now arriving from , another job offer signed by Sony Interactive Entertainment and related to the new PlayStation studio that would be based in San Diego, California. They would be looking for a Game Design Intern. The text reveals how the new team is ''currently co-developing an exciting new project with Naughty Dog in a beloved franchise.''

There is no clear indication of which series will be the center of this game, which will, in any event, be a well-known brand rather than a whole new IP. Considering Visual Arts' involvement in addition to the "doggies" in this new studio, it brings to mind the discarded remake of Uncharted Drake's Fortune.

In case you missed it: Oh no! The Callisto Protocol will not be coming out in Japan.

It's unclear whether there has been a rethink, so this is a remake of the first Uncharted or a completely new project. All that remains is to wait for Sony to provide definite updates in the near future.
