Released in August 2022, F1 Manager 2022 turned Formula 1 fans into real team managers, organizing all the work needed to prepare their drivers to take to the track to the best of their abilities to win.
But now, Frontier has confirmed the termination of post-release support for their first F1 Manager, which debuted on consoles and PC two months ago. F1 Manager 2022 will receive one more major patch, which will be the game's final major update before the crew moves on to other duties to "guarantee that future F1 Managers fulfill their full potential."
Does this mean there will be no more updates?
Frontier's Reddit post stated that the next update will be the final one with community-requested changes or new features: "Any future update would be a modest patch with no noticeable gameplay changes."
The next and last significant update will make cosmetic adjustments to the automobile models to differentiate their appearances by including specific essential components of the current team designs, car parts or vinyl. "In addition to other optimizations, we will make good changes to the problem with fuel utilization during qualifying sessions."
In case you missed it: Valorant's tournament mode 'Premier' is coming soon!
Predictably, the Reddit community has not reacted well to the developers' decision, pointing out that the lost-launch support lasted barely two months. The hope at this point is that the upcoming update will be substantial enough to address many of the critical issues plaguing the work.
