We have been hearing rumours, we have seen dev updates, we have spent a good time waiting for Sonic Frontiers and the time to play it is almost here. Recently game’s director, Morio Kishimoto took over Twitter to confirm that the game is already done.
After five years in the making, he has a sense “of relief” while also feeling sad about leaving the team he has been seeing for many years. He also noted that they were not able to change many of the elements that some players pointed out after the latest gameplay the released. However, he thinks that the team have polished the experience "right up to the last minute" of the deadline.

In case you missed it: Sonic Frontiers will be the game with the most content in the history of the franchise
We see this one coming
Of course, the development was expected to end around these days, after all the official release date was accidentally leaked back in August after a Japanese TV spot released never seen footage with the launch date: November 8. Obviously, the video went private after a while, sadly for them, the ad was already seen by hundreds.
If you are not familiar with Sonic Frontiers you should know that the upcoming SEGA game will be an action-adventure video game where our favourite hedgehog explores the Starfall Islands; an open-world filled with endless surprises where the player will have to solve puzzles, collect items and fight enemies.
Remember, Sonic Frontiers arrives on November 8th for Xbox Series X|S Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
