Get ready to experience a new horror story very soon

With an image depicting the Striking Distance team and Dead Space's dad, Schofield and co. say they are "thrilled to announce that The Callisto Protocol has entered the Gold phase! On behalf of everyone in our studio, thank you for your support and excitement. We can't wait for you to face the horrors waiting in Black Iron Prison on December 2nd."

The finalization of work on version 1.0 of the horror game coming in early December on PC and PlayStation, and Xbox consoles will be only the first step in the long path laid out by Striking Distance in describing post-launch support for The Callisto Protocol.

In case you missed it: Microsoft claims Insomniac's Wolverine game comes out on PS5 in 2023.

The Schofield-directed software house promises to enrich the play, graphics, narrative and content experience of the splatter adventure to be lived with Jacob Lee with at least a year of support filled with DLC, free updates, and premium expansions.
