On the official Twitter account of the anime adaptation of the manga written and drawn by Nanashi, Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san (Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro), a new promotional image for the project's second season, which will be titled Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san 2nd Attack, has been posted.

What do we know about the second season so far?
This second season is expected to premiere in January 2023 in Japan, while the first aired during the Spring 2021 (April-June) season in Japan, with twelve episodes with Crunchyroll responsible for its distribution in the West, including a Spanish dubbing.
On the other hand, Nanashi has published the manga via the Pocket Magazine Service from publisher Kodansha since November 2017. The press release also revealed new voice cast members, including:
- Yoshino Nanjo as Anetoro (Hayase Nagatoro's older sister)
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Sunomiya (former president of the art club)
- Kaori Maeda as Orihara

Slightly interested in Nagatoro and somewhat fearful of her, Senpai is constantly drawn into her antics as her interests, hobbies, appearance, and even personality are used against him. At the same time, she entertains herself at his expense. As time passes, Senpai realizes that he likes Nagatoro's presence, and the two develop an uneasy friendship as one patiently endures the other's antics.
