Microsoft sent a rich document to the British CMA with which it pointed out how, in its view, the British regulator's latest considerations on the Activision issue satisfied Sony more than consumers.
In the same document, an interesting detail was revealed regarding one of the most anticipated exclusives for PlayStation 5 owners (jump all the way to page 10).
Is this an official confirmation that the game is coming out next year?
Microsoft has compiled a list of first-party productions and exclusive titles coming to Sony platforms, and among them is the name Marvel's Wolverine. What caught the attention of gamers is that the Redmond giant has indicated a launch period for the game, net of the fact that Insomniac Games has never communicated anything official about it.
According to Microsoft, Marvel's Wolverine will be released on PlayStation 5 during 2023, along with other exclusives, including Insomniac's own Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy XVI and Forspoken. Of course, we cannot take this information for certain, given the absence of an official launch date for the ambitious project, which will come only after the launch of Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Marvel's Wolverine will be a full-size game in the words of Insomniac; this indicates the arrival of a triple-A game that is content-wise and qualitatively on par with the development company's other productions. Compared to Marvel's Spider-Man, the authors have also promised a narrative characterization with more mature tones.
