The Volition team shares its intentions for post-launch support, from the significant November update to the rich 2023 expansions, in honor of Saints Row reaching its one-millionth copy sold and the faith Embracer Group has in the game's future.
The Illinois-based software house thus traced the roadmap of Saints Row starting with the free update that will affect all versions of the title in November.
According to Volition, it will be a very important update indeed that will include more than 200 bug fixes, some optimization work, and numerous changes to ensure greater stability of the game.
Also, through the November update, Saints Row developers promise to improve the quality of life for explorers in Santo Ileso through more rewarding challenges, changes in the vehicle management system, and many other aspects of the work; including reducing the repetition of certain tasks.
For the end of 2022 and 2023, Volition plans to launch several free packs for customizing one's gang and, from next year, a story expansion (linked to the Season Pass but purchasable separately) and lots of other free content, including new modes and areas to explore.
