Overwatch 2: Bastion and Torbjörn disabled due to serious bugs in their abilities

The game keeps presenting problems after launch

Amid the bugs in Overwatch 2 on Xbox and the alleged DDoS attacks that hit the Blizzard title upon release, problems with some of the characters are now surfacing: both Bastion and Torbjörn have been temporarily disabled in light of some game-breaking bugs.

The announcement comes directly from the Overwatch team, which, in a tweet, confirmed the unavailability of Bastion in all game modes and Torbjörn only in competitive: "Bastion and Torbjörn will be taking a quick trip to the workshop while we iron out a few bugs in their ability kits! " the staff explained.

According to reports, the problem with Bastion is the ability to continuously throw artillery, resulting in extremely unbalanced combat. However, in the case of Torbjörn, the problem would be less widespread, allowing the hero to extend the effect of Overload and gain additional armor. As a result, they had to be temporarily removed from the game to take quick action.

It is unclear when they will be included again among the available heroes, but given Blizzard's statements, we can expect a return in a few days.

Blizzard has apologized for Overwatch 2’s rocky launch and axed a policy requiring all players to have a phone number attached to their Battle.net account to access the game.
