We had a new Nintendo Direct today! The special thing about this Nintendo Direct is that it is dedicated to the new Mario Bros. movie, so everyone was waiting so badly to see the first trailer.
The Nintendo Direct opened with Shigeru Miyamoto as the host, talking about how Mario was released in Japan and how people currently play the franchise worldwide. Now it's finally coming to theaters.
Chris Meledandri, the CEO of Illumination, the film production company behind the film project, also spoke at Nintendo Direct about the hard work being done on the film. One important thing he mentioned was how the team was working directly with Shigeru Miyamoto and Koji Kondo to make this movie true to the franchise.
Another surprise was the appearance of some members of the cast, such as Chris Pratt, talking about his experience with the Mario Bros video games and the honor it is for him to be part of this project; As well as the appearance of Jack Black, who will give life to the character of Bowser. He talked about his character and the pride that comes from being able to work with the team at Illumination and Nintendo.
Without further ado, they revealed the long-awaited trailer for all Nintendo fans, starting with a chilling and epic scene from Bowser's world, making his appearance in the trailer and looking pretty fearsome and accurate to his original character. Something incredible about this trailer is that it mixes excellent action and a touch of comedy.

The trailer looks fantastic! Also, we got to glimpse Luigi, but sadly, we didn’t see Peach as we all expected. Still, we will surely see more about the movie and characters in the next trailer.
