The latest Fortnite update v22.10 brought a favourite from the game owned by Epic Games, as the title suggests the Octane vehicle from Rocket League is now available for creators to use in their islands with the features of its original game as the car has rocket boosters, supersonic speed, the ability to jump, double jump, dodge, take flight, and drive on walls.
This prop came along with a new island template, plus updates and bug fixes for devices, prefabs, two new galleries and last but not least a special design contest. In order to celebrate this crossover, the special island design contest wants to summon all creators to use this new vehicle to its fullest potential, the winners will be featured in a special Discover row in November 2022.
But what do you need to participate?
Mainly a lot of imagination… besides that Fortnite’s team is looking for groundbreaking islands that utilize the newly-released Rocket League Octane Spawner and the many other Rocket League elements recently added.
On the other hand, they are expecting a design functional enough that either reinvent the Driving or Deathrun genres and put a spin on its classic genre tropes.

Well, it's time to unleash your ideas. Remember, only one island per creator will be accepted and in order to submit your work, you will need to post a video overview here making sure to select the drop-down option for “Rocket League’s Octane Callout.”
Islands must be submitted before 12 AM on November 1, 2022, so hurry up!
