Pokémon Go players are mad, really mad and Niantic’s strategies are not helping at all as the company announced that the price of PokéCoins is going up for certain trainers.
Players can’t stand the increased prices and they are not going to stay silent, as this is not the first time Niantic has changed the price on event tickets and the increased price of a three-pack of Remote Raid passes from 250 PokéCoins to 300. In the trainer's opinion, every time a new update comes, a new price hike arrives too making it very difficult to enjoy Pokémon Go.

The dreadful announcement was posted via Twitter and it was noted by the company that the price increase will affect players that use Euro currencies as well as select countries: Chile, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Sweden, and Vietnam.

Not to play devil's advocate but the increase may be also thanks to Apple’s increase in prices of App Store and In-App purchases in certain countries forcing Niantic to change the PokéCoins value. Sadly, also the price of PokéCoins for Google Play will go up… so we are not sure how this will turn out.
This price update will start on Oct. 5 and they have assured the community that they will be monitoring its impact and discussing how to navigate changing conditions globally when the change goes live.
Not the best idea, hopefully, the player count will not go down… again.
