The wait for the release of the new Need for Speed is almost over. Electronic Arts have announced the date and time for the official video presentation of the next installment of this iconic arcade racing series.
The teaser trailer packaged by EA invites us to be "among the first to find out what the next evolution of Need for Speed will be! Be quick to mark this date to finally witness the unveiling of the new video game in development at the veterans at Criterion Games."
The announcement of the NFS reveal premiere does not provide any additional information about the video's content or explain whether it will be a cinematic movie or, on the contrary, will consist of gameplay scenes. In any case, the next chapter of Need for Speed will be presented on Thursday, October 6 at 4 pm BST / 11 am EST.
Only then will we know how much of the Need for Speed 2022 video leaks that have surfaced on the internet in recent weeks are accurate, as well as the indications provided by the well-known insider Tom Henderson on the rumored Need for Speed Unbound playtest, which should involve all fans of the series with a 'road test' to be carried out as much on PC as on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
The next Need for Speed game will reportedly be released on December 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC (no previous-gen consoles, unfortunately).
