Mario Kart Tour: trailer for the new multiplayer Battle mode

The long-awaited addition will be part of the 3.0.0 update, which will kick off the game's 4th year

The good news for all Mario Kart Tour fans is that exciting content for the title is already available. The classic multiplayer battle mode is now available and Nintendo showed it in a new trailer.

As found in the game files and later made official, Battles mode was on the way and would be the main feature of the 3.0.0 update. Today this version is already available for download, and to demonstrate how exciting this new mode will be, the game managers let us see how it will work.

HOW WILL MULTIPLAYER BATTLE MODE WORK IN MARIO KART TOUR?

In a short video, we can see that this mode will keep its classic gameplay, as the pilots will have three balloons that they will have to keep if they want to win and attack the opponents to break theirs. Also, the trailer reveals that Cookie Land (Mario Kart: Double Dash!) and Battle Course 1 (Super Mario Kart) are the first confirmed tracks for this mode.

Unfortunately, the trailer doesn't show what the pilots' control will be like in this mode. In case you don't know, in Mario Kart Tour, so far, there is no way to brake or reverse 2 key actions in the multiplayer of conventional deliveries, so it is unknown if these options will be implemented or if the gameplay of the game will be preserved Mario Kart Tour normal race mode.
