Trombone Champ is blowing up on Steam!

The viral music game has an overwhelming success on stream platforms

Trombone Champ is the latest internet obsession and has become a viral success on streaming platforms like Twitch and YouTube, and if you haven’t heard of it you are missing out.

This title developed by Holy Wow Studios is the world's first trombone-based rhythm music game but unlike most music games, you can freely play any note at any time meaning that you're not just following along with the music, you're actually playing the music.

Viral success

Just released last week, the game is already a viral success with tons and tons of streamers uploading and sharing clips on social media spreading the fun ever further; actually, Holy Wow made sure that streamers on different streaming platforms were given keys to the game trusting that this would expand their presence on the internet faster.

To be fair this was a good tactic as at the end of the day, the game was so entertaining that streamers and users outside the gaming world are sharing and enjoying these clips. For now, the developer has confirmed through a Tweet that this achievement has benefited them as now the game has a huge demand on Steam with a grow of 337.4%.

Of course, they shared more details like the game's development is "mostly a one-person operation" and that it's not even their primary job as they work full-time jobs meaning that it will take a little time for them to organize their schedules in order to deal with the huge demand.

They asked players to be patient and thanked them for the overwhelming support, we have no doubt that only good things are coming their way. Have you already played it? If no, don’t waste more time, you can find it right here.
