Logitech G Cloud: price, specifications and release date of new handheld console

Compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link and Nvidia’s GeForce Now

We witnessed the official unveiling of Logitech G Cloud, Logitech, and Tencent's awaited portable console with Xbox Cloud and GeForce Now in the LogiPlay media setting.

The new device developed by the Swiss video game accessory manufacturer in collaboration with Chinese conglomerate Tencent has a form factor similar to the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, with plenty of buttons and access to advanced game streaming features.

On the specs front, the Logitech G Cloud boasts dimensions of 256.8 x 117.2 x 32.9 millimeters and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip, an octa-core CPU up to 2.3GHz, and a multitouch IPS LCD screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.

In the console hardware, we also find stereo speakers and a 3.5mm input for microphones and headphones, as well as an AUX port, Bluetooth 5.1 connection, and USB-C headphone support. The average battery life (in gaming sessions) is reported to be around 12+ hours.

''Get a feel and performance that rivals the best controllers. Customize the touchscreen, stereo audio, controller haptics, gyroscope, and remappable controls to your preferences,'' the official website reads.

The Logitech G Cloud will be available in the United States and Canada on October 17, and "later in the rest of the world" at an introductory price of $349.99, or $299.99 for pre-orders (while supplies last).
