My Dress-Up Darling second season officially confirmed!

The studio released a new trailer

The anime adaptation of Wakana Goku and Marin Kitagawa's manga My Dress-Up Darling has officially announced that they are working on a second season, CloverWorks, the studio behind it, is working on a sequel series, and Shinichi Fukuda's manga continues to print new chapters, so there will be plenty of new stories to bring to the screen in the anime.

The first season of My Dress-Up Darling concluded after twelve chapters that began in March 2022. The season finale not only finished the first batch of episodes but also revealed Kitagawa's true feelings for Gojo after their shared experience of being scared by a horror movie.

This was revealed by My Dress-Up Darling's official Twitter account, which shared that a second season is on the way, releasing a new trailer to confirm that Gojo and Marin would be returning to the small screen, though many questions about what the second season of the fan-favorite anime series will about remain unanswered at the moment.

The first season of My Dress-Up Darling is available on Crunchyroll and follows Wakana Gojo, a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi, a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls.

Despite his enthusiasm for the trade, he is unaware of current trends and struggles to fit in with his classmates. The popular boys, particularly one girl, Marin Kitagawa, appear to live in a parallel universe. That all changes one day when she shares an unexpected secret with him, bringing their worlds together.
