Atelier Ryza is undoubtedly one of the most popular series in the Atelier franchise, and it will soon release its third episode, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. This was confirmed during the Nintendo Direct, which gave us a sneak peek at the new entry.
But, just in time for the Tokyo Game Show, Gust and Koei Tecmo have released a new trailer for the game as well as a longer video that goes into greater detail about the specifics of this latest adventure for Ryza and his friends.
So we have several new visual references for Atelier Ryza 3, which will directly follow the events that occur after the conclusion of the second episode. Ryza's group will have 11 members, making it one of the largest groups in the entire franchise.
We're promised four large regions to explore, with areas that are a little more open than in the past, and during battles, Ryza will be able to use the power of keys to perform various effects. These keys can also be used for exploration or alchemy.
''Returning for the third summer adventure is the reliable and friendly Reisalin Stout [Ryza] (voiced by Yuri Noguchi), the intelligent and hard-working Klaudia Valentz (voiced by Hitomi Oowada), the devoted ruins researcher Tao Mongarten (voiced by Junta Terashima), and the humble and sincere Lent Marslink (voiced by Takuma Terashima)—with more characters to be announced in the coming months,'' Koei Tecmo's official website reads.
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on February 24, 2023.
