Masahiro Sakurai hits 100,000 subscribers on YouTube!

His video game development content has been a success

As many of us already know, a few weeks ago, we reported on how Masahiro Sakurai, creator of Kirby, Super Smash Bros., and Kid Icarus, would start his YouTube channel to create content aimed at video game developers.

In this channel, he would share his video game development process and what would make gamers enjoy a game more. His videos are between 2 and 5 minutes so that they are not heavy and thus make it easier for viewers to remember or learn from Sakurai himself.

After a few weeks on the YouTube channel, Sakurai received his silver plaque for surpassing 100,000 subscribers.

The creative published an image with his silver YouTube badge, taking the opportunity to thank all the support he has received from users in his new project.

Here you can see it:

“The time has come to take this shield. All this is thanks to those who have subscribed to my channel. Thank you so much!” reads the tweet.

As you can see, Sakurai is pleased about the excellent reception that his Japanese channel has received, which already has 384,000 subscribers, and the English channel, with more than 445,000.
