Amy Hennig is a well-known game developer and the creator of the famous Uncharted franchise. Hennig is now working on a Marvel-themed game, and according to a leak, the developer and studio Skydance are working on a Captain America and Black Panther game set during WWII.

The information comes from the Twitter account MCUStatus, which has already settled a rumor about WandaVision's director Matt Shakman directing the Fantastic Four film, so it is worth paying close attention to this speculation.

Before this leak, the game was already described as a blockbuster format title (AAA). Furthermore, the story would be completely new, and the project's focus is on a robust narrative.

The comic book's cover that the Twitter post reference is Flags of Our Fathers, which follows the story of Steve Rogers and King Azurri, T'Challa's grandfather, defending Wakanda from Baron von Strucker and Hydra, who were after the country's Vibranium reserves.

Earlier rumors suggested that Amy Hennig's new game would be about Ant-Man or the Fantastic Four, but those reports did not come from reliable sources until now.

As Marvel and Skydance only announced their partnership in developing a game from the universe last year, likely, the title will still take a while to be released.

Amy Hennig's new project will be officially announced on Friday at 1 pm PT / 9 pm BST during the ''Marvel Games panel.'' Content from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games, and 20th Century Games will be showcased at the event.
