One of the most anticipated games, and the one that we are getting closer to its release date, is Overwatch 2; for this reason, the community is still waiting for novelties and news about what will be waiting for us once it is released.
Undoubtedly, one of the news that most excites fans is that of new characters in the game, and recently the Overwatch community was excited by a rumor that they secured a new heroine in the title.

WHAT CHARACTER WAS THAT RUMOR TALKING ABOUT?
It was about the character of Kimiko, aka Fox Girl, a character who participated in an operation to rescue hostages from Talon. The leak said that she would arrive in the role of healer, and would have a fox as her companion who would be able to help the team with healing and support.
It was also said that this character's Ultimate would be to summon a huge fox that would defend an entire team from enemy attacks. Sounds pretty cool, don't you think?
Too bad this is all a lie. Jon Spector, Blizzard's vice president, and business leader confirmed it on the Competitive Overwatch subreddit by writing, "Yes, this is fake." Spector also stated that those in charge of the title usually do not answer these rumors, but in this case, he considered it necessary due to the high hype of the fans.
Although this rumor has already been ruled out, there are still players who find the appearance of the little fox spirit strange in the Overwatch 2 release date trailer video. So there are still rumors that perhaps it could be a clue to another character.
