During the Back to Hogwarts celebrations, fans could watch the "Hogwarts Legacy Featurette," a special trailer that showcased news and updates about the upcoming game.
The Back to Hogwarts celebrations is a beloved annual tradition of Wizarding World fans worldwide, beginning on September 1. They celebrate the day Hogwarts students board the Hogwarts Express for the start of a new academic year.
In this video we see how are the dormitories of Gryffindor (in one of the highest towers) and Slytherin (behind a winding stone serpentine arch) but also the less visited common rooms of Hufflepuff (bathed by the sun through a skylight) and Ravenclaw (behind the statue of an eagle).
However, their open world will extend beyond the castle to the village of Hogsmeade and beyond. They also revealed in this video that some castle ruins were inspired by the Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure roller coaster located in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort's Islands of Adventure park.
Finally, they confirmed that from today Harry Potter Fan Club users can link their Warner Bros. Games accounts and import their house and wand into Hogwarts Legacy, which will unlock a mask and robes in the game.
Hogwarts Legacy will see the light on February 10, 2023, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also come out on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
