Ubisoft has also released the first official image of Assassin's Creed Mirage, which appears to confirm the game's setting in Baghdad, Iraq's capital. Rumor has it that the game will take place in that region between the years 860 and 870.
Assassin's Creed Mirage was first rumored to be Assassin's Creed Rift, a title that would have started as a paid DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla and evolved into such an important project that it is now a new installment in the series.
It has also been reported that the game will drop the RPG elements and return to its roots to offer a more faithful gameplay experience to fans of the franchise who miss the original game mechanics.
