Disney Dreamlight Valley is days away from its official release on September 6 and in order to hype players, Gameloft, the company in charge of development has decided to released a free standalone version of the character creator that we found on the game. You can download it in either Steam or the Epic Games Store.
The whole point is to let you experience first hand how the Avatar and Wardrobe customization features work and maybe if you enjoy it you can pre-order de game.
You can spend hours on it
The Avatar Designer tool is pretty addictive, you can spend a very long time creating and customizing your very own avatar which fortunately you can import to the full Disney Dreamlight Valley version when the title launches.
Besides creating the Disney-version of yourself, you will be able to make outfits for your avatar with a great level of detail, you can choose from a wide range of motifs, patterns, and colors to an interesting range of basic clothing.
Of course there are features that are not as diverse or customizable as we are used to. For example the face and body shapes, features, and colors for skin hair, and eyes are kinda limited, however there is nothing gender locked so you can go crazy and try any combination possible.
If you are happy with your avatar you have the option to pose your creations in various themed scenarios and save screenshots directly to your gallery or get a QR code to share with your friends. Remember, as we mention before, you will be able to import your character into the full game and if so, you will receive and special clothing bonus.
Ok sounds fun, but what is it exactly?
If you are not familiar with Disney Dreamlight Valley you should know that this is a hybrid between a life-sim and an adventure game, full of quests, exploration, and engaging activities featuring Disney and Pixar characters from all time. Gameloft has designed it with the idea of constant new content meaning that there will be always something to explore or new characters and items collections to check out.
