Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil Village PlayStation VR2 version will be playable at TGS 2022. As a result, the virtual reality version of the franchise's eighth numbered title, due out in 2021, is the first game available for testing at the show. In addition, Capcom will give away a set of Resident Evil 4 Remake-themed files to those who test the game.

''This is a survival horror game with the ultimate immersive experience as if you have jumped into the world of Resident Evil Village. We hope you will take on the role of Ethan Winters as you take on this death-defying mission.'' Capcom's official website reads.

In addition to Resident Evil Village for PS VR2, Street Fighter 6, Exoprimal, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and Rockman EXE Advanced Collection will be playable at Capcom's booth at the show.

The Tokyo Game Show 2022 will take place from September 15 to 22. Capcom will hold two presentations: one on September 15th focused on the latest news about the company's upcoming projects, and another on September 16th focused entirely on Street Fighter 6.
