Announced last year during the 2021 Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase this direct sequel to the original game comes with even more slimy blobs to take care of, you will be able to continue the adventures of Beatrix LeBeau as she journeys to Rainbow Island, a mysterious land brimming with ancient technology, unknown natural resources, and an avalanche of new slimes to discover.
As you may known the first game sold over 5 million copies around the world, so yeah… 5 million people love to relax by selling slime poo for cash.

Besides the prismatic paradise and simple yet cute landscapes that will surround you, this title will introduce you to another chapter full of mystery that you must uncover, available on September 22, on both Steam and the Epic Games Store and in case you’ve got a Game Pass subscription it will be accessible too.
Sadly the complete version is not the one to be released, Slime Rancher 2 will arrive on early access and will stay like this for at least 18 months, potentially longer. Devs thinks that the game is a good fit for Early Access as it can be readily enjoyed now without needing the full game experience completed.
So, consider that while 1.0 version is not the full deal yet, you will be able to play as much or as little of it as you like. The difference between de full one and the EA version is the quantity of slimes, the gadgets available to build and the remaining part of the story.
