Surprise surprise! the new League of Legends trophy is going to be designed by one of the biggest jewelry companies in the world. Recently, Riot games had announced a long-term partnership with Tiffany & Co. The company has the mission of redesigning the Summoner's Cup the trophy awarded in the League of Legends World Championship.
According to the announcement the new trophy will be fully shown off for the first time on August 29 on the Riot official social media channels.
Luxury… no less than that
The company knows that such a big event must be celebrated in the best way. That is why this trophy will be made of sterling silver, standing at 68.58 centimeters tall and will weigh just under 20 kilograms. It is worth mentioning that all this work took Tiffany designers 4 months of design, while expert artisans took over 277 hours to craft the trophy.
